North Salem, May 13 - Roy M. Sharp, 64, a member of the North Salem town board, died in his sleep Thursday night at his home here. He had been in failing health 9 years. Mr. Sharp, who was a Hendricks County farmer until his health failed was born May 22, 1884 near Ladoga. His parents were Madison and Armina Ellis Sharp. He married Nellie Cook of Ladoga Dec 21, 1911. Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Golden; a nephew, Sam Sharp of Wisconsin who was reared in the Sharp home and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Lough of Ladoga and Miss Lora Sharp of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Cox Funeral Home in North Salem, with burial at North Salem Cemetery. Rev. EE Noland will officiate. -- kbz
